Welcome to Casa Pacífico in beautiful Nayarit, Mexico. This unit (Casa de la Alegria) is one of two on the property.

Tired of the “walk to the beach” descriptions that are really several miles away? This is a true walk to the beach property. Half a block from the beach-100 steps (a few more if you’re short!). Very calm beach at the northern end of Jaltemba Bay. True Mexican village slightly off the beaten track. Restaurants and shops a few blocks away, through town or a short walk down the beach. Close enough for convenience and all supplies, far enough away to be private and “non-touristy”. Short drive or cab ride to zip-lining, jet ski rentals, surfing, mountain villages, turtle camps, ruins, hot springs, volcanos or even Puerto Vallarta. But don’t miss the local markets! Fresh produce, pastries, candied nuts, coffee as well as local artists – weaving, jewelry, Huichol art!

If you are looking for a posh resort with non stop entertainment, this is probably not the place for you. If, however, you are looking for a place to kick back, relax away from the frenzied resorts, bask in the sun at either the beach or the pool, and drink in the authentic culture, this is definitely your vacation spot.
