Why?

Vacationstayz was developed out of a need for a vacation rental site that was both pro owner and pro traveler. As property owners, we found ourselves disappointed with other vacation rental sites, and we discovered that we weren’t alone. Other vacation sites charged booking fees to owners and travelers, and burdened them with features designed to profit their parent companies.

There were really no good options that linked the traveler and owner directly without acting in the middle. Some sites focused on renting out rooms, and weren’t good at renting out houses. Others were focused on the traveler, protecting them at all costs and not understanding that owners are the ones providing the inventory.

After complaining about the lack of bookings and declining visits on our own property using another well known booking site, we felt it was time to solve the problem on our own.

Vacationstayz was created out of necessity to represent the owner and traveler. The experience is not about collecting fees or hiding analytics from the owners. It is simply to link travelers to the best vacation property for their needs, and connect them directly with the owner to complete the booking.
